Very nice place to stay. The room was very good, Beyer than expected to be fair. It's attached to a pub which is also very good. Although it was a work visit is be happy to stay there with family.

Stay was good.. but to support d stay, providing a water bottle might be good for first time visitors.. having microwave oven, a coffee maker etc would be good enough instead saying no service...
Close to main line station with good connections into centre of Manchester otherwise a typical Travelodge. Parking across the road in a public car park at a cost of about 3.50 pounds per day. Looks safe enough.

What a nice guy Frank is. I arrived late and he stayed up for me and even helped me position my large trailer in his carpark. The hotel is clean, very friendly and great value for money.
great location and extremely friendly owners. the room is quite small but tidy and clean. we were allowed to store our luggage before check in as we wanted to hike. however during our stay, their wifi was down and it was very disappointing. shampoo and toothpaste were also not provided so bring yours.

Cherell and I (Mr and Mrs Skirvin) had our beautiful Wedding reception here at the Puss in Boots The staff worked tremendously hard and we're curtious at all times. THE RED THIA CURRY WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THERE WAS PLENTY TO GO ROUND. puddings were splendid. Food also cooked for unannounced guests Debbie the manager was fantastic and the beer was in fine fetal. Fantastic atmosphere, was friendly and sociable being a small venue with a quiet chill out tap room. The recedent DJ made the evening flow with fun and games A GOOD TIME HAD BY All with local accommodation for those who travelled from afar THANK YOU PUSS IN BOOTS FOR THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get.
