The Nerd's of Valhalla

70 Chestergate, Macclesfield SK11 6DY, UK – 01625 408689

Nice selection of books and merchandise with some very knowledgeable, friendly and funny staff. Unlike most other comic book shops this one seems to be hoovered on a semi-regular basis. Truly a wonderful place for geeks to haunt weekly.

Always get my comic books from here. Great selection and friendly staff, always happy to help you find something new to read. I highly recommend them!

Reasonable selection of goods but I can see this being the next chain to disappear from the high street. Stocks similar items to The Works and B&M Bargains, but at a premium price. This store is chaotically organised with a very confusing queuing system, it's a free for all and the checkout staff always seem to struggle with the lottery machine, delaying everyone further. As there is invariably only one member of staff on the tills the queues are often lengthy and full of people shoving their way in to buy their Daily Fail. On the positive side the Post Office staff are well trained and efficient, and the WHSmith clearance centre upstairs has some good bargains.

WHSmith Macclesfield has a great choice of Books,Magazines,Stationary,Sweets & drinks. There is a post office located at the back of the store.
