The Canine Club

Sandy Ln, Whirley, Macclesfield SK10 4RJ, UK – 01625 500028

We can definitely recommend The Canine Club. They are very professional and friendly with fantastic facilities. They made our puppy feel very welcome, and put us at ease too, as we were slightly nervous as it was the first time we had left our puppy.

I cannot say enough good things about the Canine Club. I needed to use the club for my GSP puppy while I worked and he is now so confident around other dogs of all sizes it's a pleasure to see. I moved out of the direct area at the beginning of the year, but after getting another GSP in the summer I am now travelling so the second puppy can benefit in the same way as the first (there's nothing similar I can find locally). It's also the only place I would feel comfortable leaving the dogs overnight if they can't stay with family. After a bad home boarding experience, I genuinely feel the dogs are happy here if they can't be with me :)

Vets

Vets Now Macclesfield

I was shocked to see the negative review. A couple of years ago, our dog was really ill over the Easter weekend and Vet’s Now saved his life. I can never thank them enough. Yes, the fees are expensive but that is because they have to pay the vets and nurses a premium for working unsocial hours, just as any business would. Without exception, the people who looked after our dog were caring, sympathetic and gave him excellent care.

Wright & Morten Veterinary Surgeons

Wright & Morten looked after our dog really, really well. They are not only good in what they do but they are lovingly looking after your pet and will be going out of their way to make sure the best service is provided. If it is standard check-ups for your super-nervous dog or a blood test for an (unfounded) scare, they are there for you. In our case, this extended (sadly) till the very, very end: I was scared when it came to taking the hard decision to put our 17-year-old dog to sleep but it was greatly helped by the empathy and care they afforded us. She couldn't have had a better step into the great rabbit-chasing grounds in the clouds. We will always be so very thankful to them!

Great vets, we have 4 Border Collies and are looked after brilliantly and everyone who works there are so friendly making your pets feel at ease. Thanks for all you have done for us over the years.

Friendly staff, and the proceedings were quick. Hopefully effective too.
